Although better weather is still a few months away, we thought you would like to make a note in your diaries of a new Activities initiative – a “taster” Bowling session on FRIDAY 6th May 2022. More details nearer the date.

If the covid situation permits we are planning a number of outings for the first few months of 2022. Once all these events are finalised we’ll be publishing a calendar of events for the first half of the year. Please check the Members area of the website regularly for full details of all Club luncheons, functions and outings.

This year’s Ashdown Probus Christmas Lunch was held at the High Rocks restaurant, near Tunbridge Wells. It was a new and different venue for us and provided a warm and comfortable seasonal ambience for this very special occasion.

THURSDAY 16th November 2021. It is only 5 miles so we should meet in their car park at 10.00 a.m.
The walk is forecast to take 2 hrs 15 mins so I will book a lunch table for 12.30 p.m. The menu is standard original Pub Grub!
The weather forecast shows 25% chance light drizzle, so we will keep an eye on this. Weather gear and sticks will be required.

Ten members, having walked five-and-a-half miles around Chiddingly on a “First Tuesday Walk”, are joined by an eleventh member, and all relax outside at a Pub Lunch. The Walk was led by David Scaife, our President.
