There has been a diary error at the Golf Club regarding the October Ashdown Probus lunch date. The Club are holding a Charity Bridge event on Monday 11th and so next month’s luncheon has had to be moved forward one day to TUESDAY 12th October 2021. I do hope this change of date doesn’t cause you any inconvenience.
On Wednesday 15th September 17 members and partners enjoyed Ashdown Probus’s first outing since early 2020 with an interesting guided tour of Bluebell Wine Estate, near Sheffield Park.
The planning for this year’s Christmas Lunch has already commenced and the lunch will take place on Monday 6th December, meeting at midday for drinks followed by lunch being served at 12:45pm.
As you are aware Barnsgate Manor, which was our Christmas venue for a considerable number of years, went into liquidation in January 2020. As a result, searching for a new location became a priority and it has been decided that the venue for this year will be the High Rocks. The High Rocks facility is located between Crowborough and Tunbridge Wells. It can accommodate our attendance numbers of between 70 and 90 guests and is one of the most attractive venues in the South East.
