Friday 17th June 2022 sees us return to Tunbridge Wells for the first Tunbridge Wells Operatic and Dramatic Society (TWODS) show this year: Shrek – the Musical.
Based on the 2001 DreamWorks animation movie Shrek – the Musical is a fantasy romantic comedy written by William Steig. An ogre living in the swamp outside the kingdom finds out that the kingdom is getting corrupt because of Lord Farquaad, who wants to be the next king. Shrek then makes a deal with Lord Farquaad to rescue Princess Fiona in exchange for having his swamp back at peace.
