I would like to thank my fellow members for electing me their President for the Year 2023-24, and I assure them of my very best efforts to serve their needs.
Our thanks go to Brian Hughes for leading us in a difficult post-covid period and in the building back of all the Club’s activities.
We will continue with our monthly meetings – with Lunch and Guest Speaker – together with the annual President’s Lunch and the Christmas Lunch where we are joined by our wives and partners.
Finding guest speakers is an on-going task, and we ask newer members to consider offering a short talk on their careers, or on a subject of interest to them. We especially seek help with offers of service on your organising Committee, where several posts are vacant.
Our Golf and Croquet activities are re-established, and we will maintain our three vigorous Walking Groups. We hope that generally members will participate in the interesting Outings and Events that we have established in our 2023 Programme.
I hope all our members will enjoy a successful Probus year!
