It is unfortunate that we have had to cancel the April lunch & AGM due to the covid infection rates at Crowborough Beacon Golf Club.
We will monitor the situation but if there is no change, in the short term, then it would be a strong possibility that we would have to conduct the AGM as an online virtual event for the third time.
After eighteen months of lockdown, in the following six months, the club’s lunches, activities, functions, and outings were returning to the club’s calendar but we must adjust our events to the constantly changing situation.
Once again I thank my fellow committee members for rising to the challenge and assisting in looking after the well being of the membership.
