After travel by private minibus from Crowborough to Brighton arriving at around 6.00 pm to give members time for a pre-theatre meal (not included in ticket price), we will attend the evening performance of Puccini’s La Bohème at Theatre Royal, Brighton.
Cost of minibus and theatre ticket: £ 48.35 per person
This is an opportunity to enjoy Opera International’s award-winning Ellen Kent production of La Bohème, one of the most romantic operas ever written, featuring the Ukrainian Opera & Ballet Theatre Kyiv, with international soloists, highly-praised chorus and full orchestra and welcoming back the fabulous Korean soprano Elena Dee. This brand new production is traditionally staged and features beautiful sets and costumes and can be enjoyed in Brighton’s famous old provincial theatre at at a fraction of the cost of attending either the West End or Glyndebourne.

Travel: Departure from outside Waitrose, Crowborough at 5.00 pm with the estimated return time 11.00 pm in Crowborough.
The minibus capacity is 22 and there are only a few places left so please book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

For members coming from Tunbridge Wells, the Wealden District Council car park immediately behind Waitrose Crowborough has two large areas of 23 hour parking spaces (marked “23”). These are at the far right hand side of the carpark and also in the area nearest the Community centre (turning left out of the Waitrose section of the carpark). Parking here will avoid any charges for exceeding the free 3 hour carparking limit available elsewhere. The car park doesn’t close and it’s pretty safe.
