Harvey’s Brewery
Last Thursday evening fifteen members of the Club and their guests (including no less than three of their ladies) took a luxury mini-coach to Lewes to visit Harvey’s Brewery.
Blue Badge guided London walk
After an earlier postponement due to the July heatwave, on Wednesday 9th October Vanessa Fagan, a Blue Badge guide, led our walk through some of the historical attractions of the City of London. Vanessa is seen here with a display of Roman artefacts from the Temple of Mithras discovered during works on successive buildings on the site in Walbrook.
Ashdown Probus Golf Society
Fifteen golfers enjoyed the visit to Broome Park Golf and Country Club near Canterbury, the former home of Lord Kitchener of Khartoum and the house and estate proved to be an excellent venue both for golf and accommodation.

BBG London walk RESCHEDULED to 9th October 2019
After cancelling the July BBG LONDON walk due to the heatwave, Met Office warnings, potential train delays and buckled rails this event has now been rescheduled for Wednesday 9th October and is now fully booked.
Golf Croquet World Championships 2019 report
The Golf Croquet World Championships were hosted in 2019 in Kent and Sussex with matches between 27th July to 2nd August staged at the Royal Tunbridge Wells Croquet Club.
