Booking deadline for the Rude Mechanicals open air theatre at Wadhurst on Friday 10th July.

Today we are visiting yet another of the Great twelve Livery companies of the City of London – the Salters’ Company, ranked number nine in the order of precedence. Salters’ Hall is however very different from the livery halls we have visited so far. Rather than a medieval building it is a bold post-war design by Sir Basil Spence completed in 1976.

This year’s Rudes' production is “The Wife” - an original musical play based on Chaucer’s classic, bursting with live music and original songs.

We are planning a group to go to the performance at Wadhurst Primary School, Sparrows Green Road, Wadhurst, TN5 6SR on Friday 10th July at 7.30 p.m.
