Monday 12th August - 12.00 noon for 12.30 seating.
COST will be £25 payable on the day (contactless much preferred).
We will be playing Golf Croquet. The maximum at any one time will be 16 players: i.e Two games of doubles on each of two lawns.
New players who would like to join us are most welcome, and will receive some helpful instruction.
Our walks are usually around the 5 mile mark and take in amazing countryside in the Kent and Sussex area. We take it in turns to lead a walk and always end up at a friendly pub for liquid refreshment and lunch for those wishing to stay.
David and Susan Homewood have once again offered their beautiful garden in which to hold the Ashdown Probus Annual Summer Picnic on FRIDAY 16th August 2024 from 12.00 noon. Save the date!

On 12th September sixteen members, partners and guests travelled up to London to enjoy a very interesting trip to the home of the Armourers and Brasiers livery company. One of the 111 livery companies in the City of London, ranked 22, the Armourers has existed since 1322 when 26 helm-makers grouped together to control standards in the craft of armour-making. When effective musketry made armour redundant in the 1600s, its members turned to brass and copper work (hence 'Brasiers'). The livery hall site in Coleman Street has been occupied by the company uninterruptedly since 1346.
