I am honoured to be the President of Ashdown Probus Club.
Members who organise a broad range of club activities and events are to be congratulated on their initiative and commitment, which help give the club its reputation for offering far more than a monthly lunch.
I welcome the opening of club membership to women and see it as a challenge for all members to seek new members from the Weald around Crowborough, from which our membership is drawn. A flourishing membership ensures participation in the Club and its activities, to which all members are invited.
