Waitrose, Crowborough have just announced that stores will dedicate the first hour of opening as a priority shopping time for the elderly, the vulnerable and those who look after them. in Crowborough that means the hour from 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. is reserved for “seniors”.

Sainsbury’s, Tunbridge Wells are giving seniors priority shopping access to their store from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.

Iceland, Tunbridge Wells are also offering priority to seniors, reputedly a two hour slot, but the website says to call the local store to check on the dedicated times. Ph: 01892 5290252

Marks and Spencer, Tunbridge Wells are also operating a priority shopping period but details are not on the website. Please call the store direct. Ph: 01892 511466

Note: This information is compiled from various sources – not always the stores themselves – so please check with the business yourself by phone before making any journey. We’d hate to send you on a wild goose chase (they’ll have sold out of them before you get there anyway!).
